i'm hangin' - stuffed myself with 28 pts. not much to share. depressed no one else is playing. as the administrator of this master blog, I feel as if I've been let down. no one wants to come to my party. crying the blues...miss gaily
Oh no ladies...you are never on your own. Been reading but it is defintely more fun being a voyeur than a player. You know me...the sdtrong silent type.
Fought a migraine, exhaustion and PMS Friday and Saturday. Chocolate and carbs never looked so good. Been working out to make balance too and the best part of being a ww member is i know that the next meal is the next meal. u just pick yourself up...dust yourself off...and start all over gain :)
well onward i go...taxes coming to end, but found out yesterday that friend's father died suddenly of a massive heart attack on sunday evening. i can't even express all i'm feeling. between the "just saw him last week" and he "seemed fine" and then it's so close to my dad's anniversary. and what really sucks, is i have not been able to talk to her. she is from India, her parents were here visiting. and i believe they were headed down to georgia to meet the grandchild they had so longed for. and after a sunday evening service (her father was a pastor who had just retired, and was getting ready to go back to India and share his time with many small villages in India) he had a massive heart attack and died. my kids are sad for their friend (they have an 8 yo son - Leander) because he lost his grandpop. sadly, my kids can understand this loss.
i'm done talking about this for now.
food is actually doing ok, but had to drink a lot of tea during the day...shockingly haha i could not feel satisfied with my food choices. but the tea helped me to stay at 22 points for the day.
b - you are never on your own. as long as we are together, whether in physical or spiritual presence, you are never on your own.
i tried to find the right words to celebrate both taxes and your friend. hope this helps.
I walked a mile with Pleasure. She chattered all the way, But left me none the wiser For all she had to say. I walked a mile with Sorrow, And ne'er a word said she; But oh, the things I learned from her When Sorrow walked with me!

know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I am here, as well. Tried to leave a post yesterday, and my computer kept telling me it could not contact the host, so I gave up. Things move here, slowly but surely. Bridget, I am so sorry for your loss. Just know that the people you care about know you are thinking of them. Jodi, you are my hero. Gail, we are here for you, just a little busy.
thanks everyone! i'm just very glad the sun came out today! i don't know if i could handle another dreary day and telling more people about Anita's dad.

Bridget - I'm sorry for your loss. My friend's dad died a few weeks ago - he was like a second dad to me.
